The uniqueness of Vista Nova Renaissance Community is that it utilizes the arts as a method for building a healthy and sustainable community. Quarterly arts and music workshops with professional artists are held on site.
The Living quarters are studio apartments. Each unit is partially furnished with a private bathroom. The apartments do not have kitchens. Dining is a time for sharing meals and social engagement. The apartment complex has two cooks and a common dining room area. Typically, residents have microwaves and small refrigerators in the apartment units. The apartments are cable ready. Monthly rent, meals, utilities, and free access to the on site laundry facility is $915.00 per month. Double occupancy is available at a rate of $750.00 per tenant per single unit. Both renters must be visually impaired. The community is accessible to all types of public transit including the Gold Line which connects with downtown Los Angeles. Retail shopping and medical facilities are readily accessible by public transit, access services, dial-a-ride or the Pasadena arts bus.
